Another multi-lang question
I'm trying to use the technique here: http://buildwithstructure.com/documentation/multi-language_sites/ But I'm running into a few issues. The second site is basically a complete copy of the first one. I'm really hoping there's some kind of workaround so that I don't have to duplicate all the press releases. I had added language categories for the client to assign them, but since I'm using page_url for the link I'm not sure how to go about this.
So, I guess my question is... Can I somehow have URL's like this for a listing page? example.com/press-release/example-release AND example.com/es/press-release/example-release (that is, without adding another channel and duplicating everything)

Unfortunately no, as listings can only live under one area. Have you seen Transcribe though? They're adding Structure support and our new release including it should be out soon. No exact timeline yet. http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/transcribe

Thanks, I've actually been in touch w/ Tom re Transcribe. He sent me the files for both Structure and Transcribe for this, but since it's a new thing - I'm not really clear on how to integrate, but I'll get in touch with him again.

Ok, cool!

So, I downloaded and tested what Tom sent me and it looks like I'd still need to duplicate all my listing channels + entries so that I can have those listings in more than one place. Am I missing something?

No, you are correct. It's a different way to build. Entries simple cannot live in two places. Have you taken a look at the basic Transcribe docs to see how it's used? Maybe it doesnt' work with listings? I'm honestly not sure what degree they've integrated.

looks like it's a looong night of duplicating content...ugh. Do you happen to know of any plugins that can copy a channel and it's entries?

No, I've never really used one. Definitely check Devot-ee.
